Peter Paul Rubens “Parrot”<\/span><\/h1>\n

Sir Peter Paul Rubens<\/b> 28 June 1577 \u2013 30 May 1640) was a Flemish artist and diplomat from the\u00a0Duchy of Brabant\u00a0in the\u00a0Southern Netherlands\u00a0(modern-day\u00a0Belgium). He is considered the most influential artist of the\u00a0Flemish Baroque\u00a0tradition. Rubens’s highly charged compositions reference erudite aspects of classical and Christian history. His unique and immensely popular Baroque style emphasized movement, colour, and sensuality, which followed the immediate, dramatic artistic style promoted in the\u00a0Counter-Reformation. Rubens was a painter producing altarpieces, portraits, landscapes, and\u00a0history paintings\u00a0of mythological and allegorical subjects. He was also a prolific designer of cartoons for the Flemish tapestry workshops and of\u00a0frontispieces\u00a0for the publishers in
